Usability Testing. Last fall we had two student volunteers help us test the usability of a typical department site. We’ll share how we conducted the test, what the findings were, and what changes we plan to make to improve the usability of your sites.
Courses Feature: Group Discussion. When upgrading the courses feature last fall, the web team noticed some departments have not been maintaining their website course listings. We’d like to know more about that – is it too hard to add them, do you need more reminders, do you think they’re not useful? For departments that do utilize the course feature extensively, how can we make the process better? We’d like to have an open discussion about ways to improve how courses are handled on department sites.
