The Department Web Framework is a free service provided by the UW College of Arts & Sciences Marketing & Communications team. We design, build, and host websites for the College's departments, so they can focus on their content and communication strategies.
There are currently 33 departments using the framework service. It is available to academic departments in all four divisions: Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. If your department is interested in joining, contact Shane Fricks. What if I'm not eligible?

The Department of Biology has joined the College's Department Web Framework! The new site showcases the breadth, vibrancy, and diversity of the department. They are the 34th department and 6th natural science unit to join the framework.

A problem on our web host is causing 13 UW College of Arts & Sciences department websites to be unreachable. Affected sites are being redirected to this page until the problem can be addressed.

The front page design showcases their research areas and outreach efforts. They are the 33rd department and 5th natural science unit to join the framework.
