Users Group

The Department Web Framework Users Group consists of faculty, staff, and students who manage content on department sites based in the framework.  We also have a few participants who are running their own Drupal installations, but share similar issues and goals.

We meet quarterly to share strategies for managing content and improving digital communications. These meetings are intended to help site owners and content editors make better use of their websites and help us understand how we can improve the framework service.  They are informal and topics might include:

  • Gathering and generating website content
  • Brainstorming on problems/issues you’ve encountered
  • Writing good web content
  • Making your content accessible to users with disabilities or search engines
  • Complying with web-related university policies
  • Features that have recently been introduced
  • New features in the works or features you'd like to see
  • Open Q&A

If you're interested in participating, please contact us.
