Our team is excited to announce two enhancements for department sites:
- Course section detail pages now include credit information, a list of joint sections, and the Canvas syllabus description from the primary section, even if that section is outside your department. Previously the Canvas description was only included if it was attached to your department’s section, which meant it was often missing for cross-listed courses. Thanks to Lauren Caple for adding these features to our system.
- For the fall, we are working on a College News Importer that will automatically import stories about your department from the main College of Arts & Sciences website. It will create an article stub and link back to the full story on the College site. If you are interested in having this feature added to your site, so you will have more stories in your news stream, please let us know at asweb@uw.edu so we can contact you with details when it is ready. Morgen Nilsson is taking the lead on developing this feature.
