There are currently three basic theme designs for Department Web Framework sites, with several color scheme options. The front page layout and background or banner image are customized for each department. Sometimes special buttons are added to the sidebar on secondary pages. The fonts also vary slightly in each color scheme.

As of January 2017, we have moved away from the colors used in older designs in favor of a more cohesive palette for Arts & Sciences websites. We are in the process of revisiting earlier websites and refreshing them with the latest approaches in visual design.
